Anne Guilford Memorial Service

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Guilford. Services will take place at Grace Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10 o'clock in the morning. Graveside services will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens (2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823).

Anne Guilford Obituary

Anne Graham Guilford of Lakeland, Florida, died peacefully on April 10, 2026. She was born July 13, 1927, in Wilmington, North Carolina, to Anna and Lyman Graham. She was the third of four children.

As Lyman was in government service (retiring as a Naval Captain), the family called many places home. Upon retirement in 1947, Lakeland, Florida became their permanent home.

Anne completed high school in Oakland, California and attended Florida State University. Soon after moving to Lakeland, the Graham family joined Grace Lutheran Church where Anne met Harold Guilford. They married in 1951.

Anne and Harold became the devoted parents of a daughter and two sons. They were able to enjoy several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anne was preceded in death by a loving husband of 60 years. She is survived by daughter Barbara (Mark), sons David (Sharon) and Fred (Yamini), and brother Lyman (Sue).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 745 S Ingraham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Anne’s name be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland.
