Our mission is to share God’s love with each other, our community, and the world.
Our Social Ministry focus for January is VISTE and needs are simple -- food, food, and more food. With many more out of work, quarantined, or simply observing “safer at home” because of the virus, supplies are critically low. Checks can be made payable to Grace Lutheran with a notation of “VISTE” on the memo line.

Quilt Ministry in conjunction with Lutheran World Relief. Nearly 100 quilts will be shipped on February 1st. Bars of soap are also included in our shipment. Your contributions of bar soap can be brought on Sunday, January 24th from 11 am – 12:30 p.m. and donations to defray shipping costs will be appreciated.
Security System -- We have installed a new security system on campus. For several months the previous system has been malfunctioning and is beyond repair and can no longer be supported. We anticipate that the new system will be as reliable as the previous one while simpler to use. If you had access to the church using the security system, you will need to stop by the church office Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to noon for new information.
Church Council – At our congregational meeting on January 17th we thanked Marty Lewis, Wally Oestreich, Colline Simpson, Sue Stark, and Phyllis Whidden for their faithful service on Council. At its first meeting on January 19th the Council elected the following officers: President – Naomi Thomsen, Vice President – Rusty Washburn, and Corporate Secretary – Mary Flekke. Marty Lewis was appointed as Treasurer (non-voting member). Thank you all for your willingness to serve.
