Please feel invited to join us for Centering Prayer in the Fellowship Hall at 6:15 pm every Thursday.  Centering Prayer is silent, meditative prayer intended to help us develop a deeper, more intimate relationship with God.

Our meetings last less than an hour and consist of a time of silent prayer together and a time of discussion together of some short teaching about practicing and living out the presence of God in everyday life.

The Florida-Bahamas Lutheran Synod is promoting Centering Prayer as part of its Vitality program for local churches. You can read about it on the synod website: https://fbsynod.com/vitality/

Dan Stoller is our church’s contact host for the Thursday meeting. Rickey Cotton, long-time practitioner and trained presenter, is the facilitator. Please contact Dan or the church office for more information.

If you are new to silent, meditative prayer like Centering Prayer and are simply curious and want to learn more, or if this has been a part of your spiritual life for many years, or if you are somewhere in between, we would love to have you join us on Thursdays.
