Christmas 2022    

My Dear People of Grace,

During this blessed season of Advent, we have celebrated the Heart of Grace as we considered the ministry and fellowship we share here in our community of faith. And at the center of that Heart, we find Jesus in the manger, whose coming we have prepared for over these weeks of Advent. I pray that this Advent has given you opportunity to prepare your heart for the coming of our blessed Savior.

Entering the Christmas Season gives me great joy – joy in celebrating with the community of faith at Grace, joy in knowing of the many gatherings of family and friends in this season, joy in our worship together during this holy time.

During this time of anticipation and waiting and then finally rejoicing, I pray God’s richest blessings on you and yours in the Heart of Grace. I offer this prayer:

For those traveling, we pray safety and joy in your gatherings; 
for those in poor health, we pray healing and joy in each day; 
for those in sadness, we pray an extra measure of God’s presence; 
for those despairing, we pray the blessing of hope; 
and for all, we pray that Jesus will draw us ever closer to his heart
