Dear Grace Evangelical Lutheran Family,

Our Fall Stewardship theme this year is Continuing in God’s Grace.  This theme revolves around the journey we, as a congregation, will take as we continue our search for a new Pastor. Our Journey includes both Joy and Companions. Joy as we meet change with energy, excitement, and continued commitment to sustaining current ministries and growing new ones. Companions as we lean into our mission statement to share God’s love with each other, the community, and the world.  We gather as God’s people to seek and follow the calling of the Lord as individuals and together as the Body of Christ.

Our grateful response to this gift of life in Jesus Christ is to give our best, our time, talent, and treasure, to share God’s kingdom using the blessings of Grace and abundance that He has bestowed on us.

In the next several weeks you will be hearing about the journey that Grace will be on for 2025. Newsletters, bulletin inserts, temple talks, letters, and a brochure will inform you of our congregation’s mission plans for 2025.

As we Continue in God’s Grace, we will join together and generously support our 2025 ministry plan.

You will be invited by letter to consider increasing your offering and gifts for the coming year. Please pray about this request and do your best to respond generously as the Lord leads you.

On Stewardship Sunday, December 1st, we will present our pledges and commitments, also known as our Statement of Intent, during worship. You may also mail your Statement of Intent to the church office if you will not be present on Stewardship Sunday, December 1st.

Those folks who have not submitted their response by December 1st, will be contacted by phone to assure that everyone has the opportunity to present their offering plan for the coming year.

Thank you for being a part of this exciting journey and this loving congregation! Please pray for our Call Committee as we search for a new Pastor and our ministry as we continue to reach out with the Gospel of Christ!

Sincerely in Christ,

 Jeannine Sweet, Interim Pastor
Rusty Washburn, Council President
