Remaining funds from our Community Garden Project were donated this afternoon to the Lakeland Police Department to be used toward funding an additional K-9.

Chief Garcia, K-9 Officer Ryan Back and K-9 Smoke, and Lieutenant Eric Harper were humbled and grateful to receive a very generous donation of $3,550 today from members of Grace Lutheran Church. Along with the donation, members also had treat bags for our K-9 Officers, both two and four-legged! The donation will be put to good use soon, as we will be seeking new dogs for the unit due to recent retirements and promotions.
