Florida-Bahamas Synod

The Florida-Bahamas Synod held its Annual Assembly this year in Kissimmee, FL on the first weekend in June.

Voting members from Grace were Pastor Joyce Gilliford, Barbara LeMond, Marty Lewis, and Mary Flekke. 

The assembly rotation this year called for minimal business and maximum education and training.  Included were reports from Bishop Suárez, Synod Vice-President, and many auxilliary ministries, as well as the usual discussion and voting on the budget.  We heard from a Churchwide representative and listened to a visiting keynote speaker.  Saturday afternoon consisted of various workshops.  And of course we had inspiring worship every day.
