Volunteers in Service to the Elderly

 Mercy to the needy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full. – Proverbs 19:17.

The month of June has been designated by the Social Ministry Committee for VISTE – Volunteers in Service to the Elderly.   VISTE needs food geared to individual meal prep. Volunteers deliver not only hot meals, but commodity boxes so the people who are able can prepare their own meals.  

Non-perishable foods and canned goods are always in great demand.  VISTE also always needs volunteer delivery people, so if this is something you feel called to do, please contact them through their website at VISTE.org.  

VISTE is funded primarily from donations. In addition to non-perishable food items, soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, and other items of this nature are welcome. Ensure and like products are also greatly needed.
